Christopher William Coulbern passed away peacefully in his sleep February 25,2022. He is survived by his wife Lisa A Hancook, two children Michael D. Coulbern( wife Sophia), Hailey A Coulbern, his brother David J Coulbern(wife Lorri)his mother Constance E Coulbern & his granddaughter Wren Y. Coulbern and large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father David M Coulbern.
Chris was a heavy machine operator for many years & referred to his machinery as his Tonka toys. He also was a welder & mechanic.
He had a passion for life & lived it to the fullest. He inherited his passion for drag racing from his father and worked tirelessly on his project car for many years. He built it from the ground up using all his skills fabricating the body & building his motor. He was able to get out on the racetrack last summer.
He loved doing anything outdoors. He was funny sensitive & he didn’t like to lose at anything. He didn’t mince words & said what was on his mind. He loved his family fiercely & would do anything for them. He will be missed by many. He requested that in lieu of flowers , donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
Visitation will be on Friday March 4th from 2PM-4PM at Flanner & Buchanan in Speedway, IN with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM.
