Christine Marie Beechler

November 21, 1957 — August 11, 2025

Fishers, IN

Christine Marie Beechler, affectionately known as Chris, was born on November 21, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She passed away on August 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, warmth, and compassion.

Throughout her career, Chris was admired for her unwavering dedication and professionalism. Following her high school graduation, she held various jobs, including hairdressing and working at Central Hardware, where she formed lasting friendships and met her husband, Tom. In 1991, Chris began her significant journey at Marian Incorporated in Indianapolis. Over the years, she developed into an inventory management expert, traveling across the United States and even to China to help establish new production plants. Her career was not solely defined by her impressive accomplishments; Chris also served as the unofficial counselor for her colleagues, providing a listening ear and sage advice to those in need.

Chris's upbringing as one of seven children instilled in her a profound appreciation for family. She lived in a home filled with love, sharing it with her parents and six siblings. This foundation influenced her own family life, as she prioritized creating joyful experiences for her two sons, Brent Beechler (Krista) and Brian Beechler (Veronica), and her grandchildren, Brayden, Mackenzie, Brooke, Logan, and Alina Beechler. Chris cherished family vacations, particularly in Florida, fostering close-knit bonds and unforgettable adventures with not only her immediate family but also extended relatives.

With an endearing personality, Chris radiated kindness and made everyone she encountered feel valued and important. She possessed a remarkable talent for connecting with others, creating a welcoming space for candid conversations that often left individuals feeling uplifted and understood. Her generosity knew no boundaries; she often sacrificed her own comforts for the well-being of others. Chris’s love extended to all, transcending family ties to embrace friends and even acquaintances.

Chris found immense joy in nurturing relationships, organizing grand gatherings for family and friends to celebrate life's simple pleasures together. With her husband, she lovingly hosted "Camp Beechler," where children from both sides of the family enjoyed countless summers filled with laughter at the lake, swimming, fishing, and delicious cookouts under starry skies. These cherished traditions reflect Chris's dedication to family and the joy she felt in bringing people together.

Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2022, Chris exhibited immense strength and resilience as she bravely fought through treatment, achieving a period of remission. Unfortunately, complications from chemotherapy led to a second cancer, which ultimately claimed her life. Despite her struggles, Chris's spirit and legacy of love endure, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Chris is survived by her beloved sons, Brent and Brian, her grandchildren, and her cherished siblings: Marianne Kiefer (Pat), Karen Waggoner (John), Pam Hull, David Connelly (Alecia), Darrin Connelly, and Carol Shrout (John). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with her best friend, Debbie Harmon (Lee). Chris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom, in 2022.

A visitation will be held in her honor on August 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, followed by a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. Another visitation will take place on August 19, 2025, at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church, beginning at 9:30 AM, leading to a Mass at 10:30 AM.
