Christine Marie Cagney Allen passed peacefully on October 12, 2025. Chrissy was born on October 11, 1956 to the late Donald Sr. and Sheila (FitzGerald) Cagney. She was raised in Wilmette, IL and graduated from Regina Dominican High School.
She married Dave Allen on December 30, 1983 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Wilmette, IL. They were married for 41 years and lived in Noblesville, IN raising their children, Bridget (Tim) Rogers and Shea (Lauren) Allen.
Chrissy owned her own retail business and worked with children and the church for many years. Known for her beautiful landscaping and love of gardening, Chrissy took great pride in creating outdoor spaces that reflected her eye for beauty and detail. She had a passion for decorating and remodeling projects, and she poured her heart into making every space beautiful and every holiday special. She was a devout Catholic and loyal member of Our Lady of Grace in Noblesville and St. Louis de Montfort in Fishers.
Chrissy adored her family and was happiest surrounded by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs Murphy, Riley, Sullivan, and Izzy.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her sister Courtney (Cagney) Halcomb, cousin Sharon FitzGerald and family friend Kathleen O’Hara.
She is survived by brother, Donald (Jim) Cagney, Jr.; nieces, Courtney (Chris) Perry and Whitney Halcomb; nephew, Christian Halcomb; grandchildren, Jack, Amelia, George, and Conor; and great-nieces and nephews, Caiden, Addyson, Boden, Sadie, Mason, McKinley, and Reese and her extended Allen family, whom she loved dearly.
In celebration of Chrissy’s beautiful and colorful spirit, we invite guests to wear stripes, florals, or bright colors at her celebration of life.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to St. Croix Hospice and the Stillwater Adult Day Center for their compassionate care. They are especially grateful for Chrissy’s “C’s” — her beloved family who remained by her side throughout: Linda, Margaret, Eileen, Maureen, Monica, and Carly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Still Waters Adult Day Center, and/or St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church.
