Chester Tuttle

Chester Tuttle, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away October 8, 2013 at his home. Chester was born in Hiram, KY the son of Thomas and Adina (Emory) Tuttle. He graduated from the Cumberland High School. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of St. Marks Free Lutheran Church. He had worked at Chrysler and retired from the US Post Office and was a member of the mail handlers union Local 304. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Hedrick) Tuttle of Indianapolis; daughters, Dawnella Martin of Indianapolis and Sabrina Tuttle of Avon; his son, David Tuttle of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren, Jasmine Tuttle, Rabecka Tingle, Savannah Tuttle, Joshua Tingle, Kelcie and Shelby Wilson and 1 great-grandchild, Amelia Vaughn; 3 brothers, Frank Tuttle of Sellersburg, IN, William Tuttle (Carolyn) of Sylvania, OH and Delbert Tuttle (Velma) of Whitehouse, TN; and 2 sisters, Mary Grubs (Bud) of Sellersburg, IN and Doris King of Greenbush, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Edward, Leonard and Andrew and his sister, Hazel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Free Lutheran Church, 1301 Prospect St., Indianapolis, IN 46203.
