Cheryl “Sherry” Van Meter Daubenspeck

72, of Atlanta, IN, passed away on January 5, 2017. She retired from the Carmel, IN location of Meijer in 2006. Previously she was employed by Areo Draper & GCA. She was preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Ethel Crum Van Meter; brother, Doyle Van Meter; sister, Doris Eileen Van Meter Richards and brother-in-law Doyle Richards. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don; daughter Diane (Jeff Brown) Daubenspeck; son, Richard E. Daubenspeck; grandchildren, Ryan (Danica) Daubenspeck, Clayton Daubenspeck, Kayla Daubenspeck; nephews, Bob (Mary) Richards and Jon Daubenspeck and niece Patty Mae Creech. Services will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. with calling from noon at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). Cheryl was a loving wife, caring mother, animal lover and enjoyed camping, sewing and spoiling her grandchildren.
