Charlotte Naomi Arnold was born February 24, 2022, in Indianapolis, IN. She passed away July 8, 2022, at St Vincent Hospital NICU in Indianapolis.
Charlotte will continue to live in our hearts and those of the people who were touched by her story, and the sweet babies that are recipients of her organ donations. For those who didn’t know, our Charlotte was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a very rare and fatal chromosomal condition with no cure. From day one, our baby girl was a fighter. She had her good days and bad days, but she was strong willed, feisty and determined to be with us as long as she could. Charlotte was loved by everyone who came in contact with her in her 135 days. She enjoyed listening to music, her music therapy, reading books, visits from her brothers, and especially snuggling with her Mommy.
She is survived by her parents Jonathon and Laura Arnold of Whitestown, her brothers Alfred and George Arnold, grandparents Irvin and Susan Arnold of Fort Wayne, Kimberly Fiedeldey of Maineville, OH, and Steven and Judy Elbert of Cincinnati, OH.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Trisomy 18 Foundation at trisomy18.org.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 16 at 6:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home in Zionsville. Parents request casual dress code and NO BLACK.
