Charlotte Mcmillan

Charlotte L. (Schenck) McMillan 86, of DeLand, FL (formerly of Zionsville, IN) went home to her heavenly father on September 27, 2013. She was born to the late Charles and Florence Schenck, in Zionsville on March 7, 1927. Charlotte attended Zionsville schools through her Sophomore year. She graduated from Phoenixville, PA High School in 1945. Charlotte married the late Charles (Bill) McMillan in 1948, and raised their family in Zionsville. Charlotte was a Lab Tech at Pitman Moore from 19451954. She worked at Hines Pharmacy from 19671980 and part time at the Dairy Queen from 1982-2001. She was a member of Zionsville Fellowship, Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority and Zionsville Ladies Bridge Club. Charlotte is survived by her four children: Michael (Maria) McMillan, Daniel (Mame) McMillan, Brian (Dotty )McMillan, Paula (Bruce) Paddock. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Christopher (Jami) McMillan, Blaine (Tiffany) McMillan, Kyle McMillan, Megan (Captain Jon) Kingsley, Taylor Paddock, Jeff McMillan, Kayla Paddock, and Sam McMillan and four great-grandchildren: Cameron McMillan, Kira McMillan, Chloe McMillan and Carly McMillan. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3rd and Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4th at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center in Zionsville,IN. Burial will follow the service at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
