Mrs. Charlotte Lively, 87, passed away February 1st, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis on August 25th, 1938, to parents Harry and Oneita (Aaron) Robinson.
Charlotte grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School in 1956.
On April 13th, 1957, Charlotte married the love of her life, Charles Conrad Lively. They shared nearly 60 wonderful years together.
Industrious from a young age, Charlotte began working at age 12, in her family's restaurant. She then held several careers throughout her life, as an administrative assistant for companies including Anderson Trucking, and ultimately Lockheed Martin, where she retired. Not one to remain idle, Charlotte took another job after retiring, as a greeter in the airport, welcoming passengers from abroad.
She was a valued member of Job’s Daughters.
Charlotte was a loving, vibrant woman. Family was paramount for her, and she loved to gather everyone together. She would host ‘monthly international dinners’ where all extended family and beyond would convene with themed meals and activities- all coordinated by Charlotte. She was a fierce Euchre player and loved playing games with her family. Charlotte was also a talented painter. Gardening was a passion for Charlotte. She even moved to a home with more land, over an acre, so she could expand her beautiful garden.
Charlotte will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Leigh Ann Burris (Mark), grandchildren Lauren, William, Matthew, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, son Greg Conrad Lively, and brother Richard Robinson.
Visitation for Charlotte will be Monday February 9th, from 4-7pm at Flanner Buchanan Memorial Park. Her funeral service will be Tuesday February 10th, at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
