Charlotte Jean Blake, beloved daughter of Gene and Catherine Blake, passed away December 8th, 2025. She was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky March 29th, 1946.
Charlotte is survived by her four children Kimberley Pruit, Tammy Cook, Gerald Pinkham, and Richard Pinkham; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings Mike Blake and Lori Pringle; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and her best friend and sidekick, Terry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ellen Kinney and Brenda Root.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Charlotte grew up in Kentucky and moved to Indiana as a young woman.
She was a very hard worker and worked at JennAir Appliances for many years before retiring.
Charlotte was a loving woman with quick wit and a big heart. She was the strong matriarch of her family, their rock, and she was so proud of them. Every year, she made the holidays special for everyone and loved to share all the delicious food she made. She was a big fan of country music and loved going to flea markets. A Kentucky girl at heart, she enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
Charlotte’s visitation will be Monday December 15th, from 12-2pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her funeral will begin at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
