Charlottanne Hosier, 92, passed away peacefully Friday evening, March 19, 2021 at her winter home in Cape Coral,FL.
Born November 5, 1928 in Anderson, IN, she was the daughter of James Lloyd “Mike” & Ruth VanBlair Harrison and she was a sister to Carolyn Jo Besser. All of whom preceded her in death. She married Jack W. Hosier on August 20, 1950, who preceded her in death in 2004.
Charlottanne graduated from Frankton High School and Indiana Business College. She worked for Guide Lamp in Anderson and Allison’s in Indianapolis. She and Jack opened Hosier Pharmacy in the early 1960’s and H.P. Drugette in the early 1970’s.
Charlottanne was an active member of the Women’s Association of Retail Druggists and a member of Allisonville Christian Church. After retirement, she became a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral, FL.
In her free time she enjoyed sailing, fishing, long chats with her sister, reading, entertaining, and spending time with her grandchildren at her home on Tippecanoe Lake.
She is survived by her children Shelley Pirtle and Tim Hosier, her grandchildren, Doug Pirtle, Darin Pirtle, Peyton Hosier, Brooke Carpenter, and Jeff Carpenter, and four great-grandchildren.
The visitation is at 1 PM Monday, March 29 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) with a memorial service following.
