Charlie L. Jones

Charlie L. Jones, 81, passed away December 15th, 2025. He was born in Tunica County, Mississippi, November 25th, 1944.

In 1980, Charlie married the love of his life, Sandra. They shared 43 wonderful years together. Sandra passed December 6th, 2013.

Charlie owned his own towing company, C.S. Towing for many years before retiring.

Charlie was a loving gentleman who adored his family. Every Sunday, Charlie spent the day with his family, watching football and enjoying good food. He was devout LA Rams fan, usually sporting a Rams hat every day. He also enjoyed watching drag racing, like Top Fuel, when there wasn’t a Rams game to watch. Charlie had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially cats. He rescued and fed many stary cats over the years.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charlie is survived by his daughters Kelly Blake and Denise Parks; grandchildren Anastasia, David, Fantasia, and Nichole; 15 great-grandchildren; his siblings Gracey, Barbara, Carol, Betty, Janet, Billy, and Tommy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra Jones; and his mother JimElla Jones.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 23rd, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 4-8pm. His funeral will be Wednesday December 24th, at 11am. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved Sandra, at Washington Park East Cemetery.
