Charles Young

Charles D. Young 88, Indianapolis passed away on his birthday June 12, 2012. Mr. Young was born in 1924 in Cass County, IN to the late Glen and Reba (Buck) Young; they preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Helen and his brothers Arthur, Acel, and Hugh Young. Charles worked as an engineer for WIBC 1070 for years and owned and operated Young's TV Service. Charles was a member of the Traders Point Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, but his favorite thing to do was gardening. He took pride in his garden and loved to share his vegetables with all of his friends and the community. Mr. Young is survived by his two children Donald Young and Barbara Perlich (Herb). Visitation will be from 12-1 pm Saturday June 16, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville with a funeral service beginning at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
