Charles Wamsley

Charles F. Wamsley 90, Zionsville, passed away October 31, 2012. He was born June 2, 1922 in Indianapolis. Charles served in the U.S. Navy in WW II and the Korean War. For many years he was an architect with the firms of McGuire & Shook and Wright, Porteous & Lowe. Charles was a member of the Broad Ripple Masonic Lodge #643 F & AM, the Murat Shrine, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. He had also been active with the Mud Creek Players Theater, where he participated in the set building crew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn. Charles is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Holly Wamsley and Adrian Syrk and grandson, Ian Hornak. Services will be on Sunday, November 4 at 2 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple , 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, with calling from 11 a.m. until service time.
