Charles R. Hayes

Dr. Charles R. Hayes Of Indianapolis died on July 26, 2013 at the age of 75. Charles graduated from IU Dental School in 1963. He served his community as a Dentist for 50 years at Eastside Dental Clinic on East 10th Street. He was a member of the American Dental Association. He enjoyed golf, sports, watching birds, and spending time with family. Charles will be remembered for going above and beyond for his patients and his family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Reva Hayes; children Charlie (Belinda) Hayes, William "Billy" Hayes, and the late Bobby Hayes; step-children Kyle (Wendy) Crawford and Sayla (John) Dennington; grandchildren Abby and Avery Hayes, and Britney Crawford; sister Elaine Traylor. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Friday, August 2 at Flanner and Buchanan with visitation 1 PM until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
