Charles Kenneth Wilson, Sr.

Charles Kenneth Wilson, Sr, 91, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021. He was born on November 9, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Archie Wilson and Gladys (Beckelheimer) Wilson.  Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Mae (Hundley) Wilson; Twin Sons, Charles Kenneth Wilson, Jr and James Keith Wilson; daughter, Catherine Elaine Wilson.  Charles was a gentle, kind man, who loved and trusted God throughout his life, he served others humbly, generously, and graciously, and always believed in the best of people. He attended church regularly at Gracepoint Nazarene in IN and Bethany Free Will Baptist in FL.

Charles worked for Indiana Truck Center for many years and retired from MSD Warren Township, and Building & Grounds Maintenance and Union Station.

Charles will be remembered in the many memories he leaves in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.  He is survived by his loving daughter, Sharon Darlene Schaniel (James) and son, Michael Wayne Wilson (Phyllis); daughters-in-law, Debra and Carol Wilson; 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great grandchildren, and 5 Great, great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10am-1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Dr.  A funeral service will follow at 1pm. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
