Charles Jackie Ellis

Charles Jackie Ellis, 77, of Indianapolis passed away June 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1936 in Murray KY to Hampton and Voilet Cornell Ellis. He was a retired US Army Sargent First Class, with 21 years of dedicated service. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy Ellis, a son Jackie Dale Ellis and 4 brothers. Survivors include his niece who cared for him, Teresa Ellis, granddaughter Lori Gay Houghton and family, 2 great nieces Tina Matthews and Selena Robey and families, and 4 stepchildren; Sherry King, Phyllis Dunn, Andy Miller and Randy Miller. Funeral Services for Charles will be Monday at 6 PM in Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur, where calling will be from 2PM until time of service.
