Charles Floyd Harrison

Charles Floyd Harrison, 87, of Greenfield, passed away December 29^th, 2023. He was born March 30^th, 1936 in Barren County, Kentucky to parents William Herbert and Patsy (Steenbergen) Harrison.

He worked for 41 years as a journeyman book binder until retiring.

On December 20^th, 1952, he married the love of his life, Dona. They shared 65 wonderful years together. Dona passed away June 12^th, 2018.

He was a proud member of the Hancock Masonic Lodge 101.

Charles was a strong, loving man with an onery sense of humor. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting, or tending to his garden. He shared a love for horses with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted, loyal father, papaw, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his children Sheila (Jerry) Crouch, Lorie Stanley, Donna (Kevin) Burns, and Charles David Harrison; his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Dona, daughter Cheryl Turner Lortz, and his siblings.

Visitation will be Monday January 8^th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 12-3pm. His funeral will begin at 3pm. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
