Charles Harold Ransdell

Charles H. Ransdell, 77, of Indianapolis, died September 16, 2016. He was born August 30, 1939 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to Flora (Walters) and Julian Ransdell. Charles was a Christian man and a hardworking man. He loved watching football and NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan, but most of all his grandkids. He and Sandra were long time members of Valley Mills Christian Church.

Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra K. Ransdell; two daughters, Roxanna L. (George) Moody and Kathleen S. (Mark) French and a grandson Mitchell (Chandler) French. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and his baby granddaughter, Brittani Lynn French.

Visitation will be 10 am until the service time at 11 am at Valley Mills Christian Church, 5555 Kentucky Avenue. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
