CHARLES F. HAYES, 80, Indianapolis, died Feb. 18.
He was an engineer 44 years for Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors Corp., retiring in 1984.
He was a Navy Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of Speedway Masonic Lodge.
