Charles E. Bowman, 66 , of Indianapolis, passed away May 18th, 2024. Charles was born on September 24, 1957, to the parents of James and Virginia in the town of Potsdam, New York.

Charles was blessed with 2 sons; Jimmy and Michael, whom he adored dearly.

Charles was an accomplished and successful heavy equipment operator, developer, builder, and business owner. He took pride in his lifelong contributions to the development of numerous neighborhoods and commercial projects all around Indiana.

Charles loved the Colts, coffee, history, remodeling homes, landscaping, playing poker, Christmas, the outdoors and going to the beach with his family.

Charles always appreciated great company and for him there was no better company than family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charles is survived by his mother, Virginia Goldsberry; his children, Jimmy (Jen) Bowman and Michael Bowman; 20 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, James Bowman; brothers, Jeffery, James and Donald Bowman; sisters, Jerri Adams and Regina Gibson.

To honor Charles, visitation will be Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East from 11-1pm. Funeral service will begin at 1pm. Charles will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
