Charles Clements

Charles R. “Bob” Clements, age 94 of Indianapolis, IN, died September 1, 2010. Bob was a graduate of Tech High School and spent two years with the CCC building Butler State Park in Covington, KY. He was in the U.S. Navy serving in the Philippines during WWII. Bob and his wife, Jean were avid golfers and loved their golfing vacations. He loved animals raising racing pigeons in the 1960’s. Besides his great love for his family, he was an avid landscaper during his retirement years. We will always miss you our dear Robert. Your stories and jokes kept us laughing. We will treasure the memories of your humor, kindness and love for life. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Marjorie Jean (Harris) Clements, his children, Cathy (husband Steve) Nolte and David C. (wife Jan) Clements; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Broad Ripple, where Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery.
