Charles Carl

Charles E. Carl Jr, our much-loved Dad, "Pop-Pop", Charlie and Chuck, passed away Wednesday, June 18 at GHC Place in Nashville, TN. After a difficult struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, he is resting peacefully in heaven. He was a kind, gentle, man who could fix almost anything and build amazing creations out of other people's discarded junk. He cared for Rosemary L. Carl, his wife of nearly 60 years, in their Indianapolis home until her death in 2008 and now they are united again in Eternal Life. Charles is survived by his only daughter Diana Taggart and her husband Steve Taggart, his sister Cynthia Seiner and brother Jimmy Carl, his sister-in-law Phyllis Cesnik and her husband Phil, his granddaughters, Shannon Taggart and Erin Mills, his great-granddaughter Eloise Taggart Bacuilima, a great-grandson arriving in November and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday June 27,10:00AM at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
