Charles C. Turner

Charles C. Turner, 68, passed away July 31, 2011. He was born in Terre Haute April 2, 1943 to the late Herman and Geraldine (Holderman) Turner. Survivors include his loving wife, Doris “Bertie” Turner; children, Charles C. (Holly) Turner, Christina (Jeremy) Madriz, Step children, Briana Bowles, Tina (Jimmy) Showecker, Mary Baker, Gene (Chandra) Baker; siblings, Hazel Smith, LoLa Ballard, Alberta Miller, Walter Turner, and many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Herman Turner Jr., Ella M. Turner and Joseph C. Turner. Charles was a Plumber for 30 years with RT Moore and 18 years with Imperial. He retired in 2004. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Flanner & Buchanan Memorial Park 9350 E. Washington St. A funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to benefit Down Syndrome 2625 N.
