Charles C. Campbell

Charles C. Campbell, 80, ofIndianapolis, passed away March 8, 2016. Charles was born May 27, 1935 inIndianapolis the son of George and Helena (Raab) Campbell. He was a graduate of Warren Central HighSchool class of 1953 and was an Indiana Air National Guard Veteran. Charles retired in 2000 from PoindexterExcavating where he had been an estimator. He enjoyed all things electronic especially computers. He also loved watching the Colts, Bronco’sand Pacers. He was an avid walkerusually walking at least an hour a day. Charleswas preceded in death by his parents; a daughter and son-in-law, Marla Hicks in2014 and Billy Joe Hicks in 2008, son-in-law, Dale Wolfarth in 1995 and his brotherGeorge Campbell, Jr.

Charles is survived by his wife of60 years, Darleen (Miller) Campbell; daughters, Sondra Kramer, Debra Wolfarth,and Laura Cowman (Craig); grandchildren, Erin Roush, Amanda Hicks (BrianDoran), Jacob Wolfarth, and Jimmy Cowman; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Hicks, LeviDoran and Joseph and Jack Roush; his brother, Jim Campbell (Carolyn) andseveral nieces and nephews.

Services will be private atCharles’s request.

The family would like to thank AishaBell and all the staff and care givers in the Memory Care Unit at MagnoliaSprings as well as the staff of Gentiva/Kindred Hospice and Juanita with VisitingAngels.
