Charles Edward Breeden

Charles Edward Breeden, 73, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on May 31, 2026. Charles was born on January 1, 1953, to Lawrence and Roslyn Breeden.

Charles was a man who found happiness in the great outdoors. He loved spending his time hunting and fishing, finding peace and contentment in nature. A creature of habit, Charles looked forward to a hot cup of black coffee, and a cigarette, simple rituals that marked the start of his mornings. He appreciated life’s uncomplicated pleasures, and was most at home outdoors, on the water, or sharing stories with family and friends. His steady presence and love for the things that brought him joy will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Roslyn Breeden. Charles is survived by his children Charles “Chuck” Breeden II, Rosemarie “Rosie” Medsker (husband James W. Medsker); and grandchildren Diana Medsker, Jennifer Medsker, James W. Medsker Jr., Makaylee Keegan, Robert L. Gunnell Jr., and Bre Davis.

Visitation for Charles is scheduled from 11:00am-12:00pm on Friday June 5, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan Memorial Park Funeral Home, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Memorial services will follow at 12:00pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:30pm.
