Charles Barker

Charles Edward Barker 88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October 21, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Charles was known for his generous and giving spirit to all who knew him, Charles and his loving wife Clara together built their home; where it was always open to family, friends and neighbors. Charles was a World War II Veteran where he served his country proudly. He retired from Diamond Chain in 1981 after 26 years of service Charles was born on September 29, 1926 to William and Elizabeth Barker. He is Survived by his loving wife of 66yrs Clara Barker; daughters Barbara Jo (Robert) Chapple and Alane (David) Biggs; sons Charles H. (Patricia Ann) Barker, William E. (Robin) Barker, Jerry L. (Susan) Barker, and Eddie (Edna) Barker; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; Loving, companions Schatze, Sadie, Maggie; sister Martha Gower; brother Darre Barker. He was preceded in death by his father and mother William and Elizabeth Barker; son Darrell I. Barker and son-in-law Robert Chapple.
