Charles Allen Fowler

Charles Allen Fowler 80, of Lawrence, passed away on June 22, 2015. He was born in Marion, Virginia to the late Glenn and Evia Fowler. Charles was a proud U.S. Army veteran and Mason. He was a longtime member of Outlook Christian Church, where he served as a trustee. Charles was former chief of Lawrence Fire Dept., station 3. He retired from Navistar after 35 years of service and was currently employed at Old Oakland Golf Club. Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Fowler, children; Sheri, Ben and Patricia. Grandchildren; Kristen (Kerry), Kelsey, McKinsey, Delaney, Jack, Sarah, great-grandchild Weston and 3 siblings. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Outlook Christian Church, 6531 N. 600 W., McCordsville, IN., at 2pm, with calling from 11:00 am. Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, handling arrangements.
