Chad Baber

October 10, 1969 — April 29, 2013

Chad Damon Baber of Zionsville died Sunday at his home. He was 43. Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Linda Baber and the late Ron Baber (Jenise). Survivors include brothers Ryan (Rachel) and Abe (Erin), and nephews Luke and Levi. His Uncle Steve Ford (Gail), cousin Lydia Ford (Justin); and Uncle Mike and Aunt SueAnn (Baber) Alma, cousins Stacy and Jennifer. Chad was a seeker and creator of beauty. Everything he touched became more alive, more radiant, and more enticing. His art was the ability to manipulate the ordinary to the extraordinary. He did this with his love for plants and his ability to help those he shared his life with by making their environments more beautiful. His home was a source of the most joyous times, and his presence brought laughter, connection, and gaiety. Chad lived peacefully and simply on a bit of farm land on the North Side of Indianapolis. He was able to live a life of connectivity to the Earth and to those lucky enough to know him. Services will be held at his residence at Madeira Farms on Friday at 12 noon, with calling beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to Linda L. Baber C/O Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville 105 N Pine St. Zionsville, IN 46077. These funds will be used to set up a memorial fund in Chad's honor for those who have been affected by his passing.
