Celia M Bell 98, of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord, September 23, 2012. She was born April 9, 1914 to Edward and Hazel Semmelroth in Tekonsha, Michigan.
Celia was a member of Windsor Village Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher for sixty years. She also did missionary work making flannel graphs to be sent all over the world. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and painting, but most of all, she loved learning the Word.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory, her sons, John W. Bell and David L (Barbara) Bell; sister, Marie Daniels; grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of over 70 years, Vernon Bell; her son Charles Paul Bell; two brothers, Edward and Mark Semmelroth.
Friends may call from 10a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday September 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held at12:00p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hemophilia of Indiana 5172 E65th Street, Suite 105, Indianapolis, In 46220
