Cecile Ditlinger, 86, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 21, 1937, to the late August and Agnes Lehmann.
Cecile grew up in Chicago, where she eventually worked for a financial company. While living there, she met her husband, Donald. They moved to Greenwood, Indiana, after their beautiful wedding at Little Flower. Together, they have spent the last 50 years in Greenwood.

Outside of her role as a homemaker, Cecile found joy in various hobbies and interests. She cherished the game of bridge and would often gather with friends for friendly competitions. Cecile also delighted in reconnecting with old friends when she visited her hometown and birthplace of Chicago.
Cecile is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald E. Ditlinger; daughter, Christine (Douglas) Stevens; grandchildren, Cory Neal (Becca), Zachary, and Amanda; great-grandchild Lincoln; and extended family, including many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents, August and Agnes Lehmann; and her infant brother who passed at birth.
