Cecil Ottis Catt

Cecil Ottis Catt 91 of Sarasota Florida formerly Indianapolis died on April 02, 2012. Cecil was born on March 11, 1921 in Hazelton, IN to John Marshall and Jewell (Grider) Catt. Cecil was a member of the Speedway Christian Church. Cecil worked as a foreman for Allison Plant #8 a Division of General Motors retiring in 1980. Cecil also owned a furniture striping company and was a salesman for Acetylene Products here in Indianapolis and he owned Certified Welding. Cecil along with his wife Catherine owned and operated the Dairy Queen Ice Cream Stores in Greencastle and Westfield, IN. Catherine Marie (Armstrong) Catt preceded Cecil in death on February 05, 2012 and he was also preceded in death by three brother's Everett, William and Lester Catt. Funeral services for Cecil will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Drive Indianapolis, IN 46228 at 1PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cecil is survived by his son Joseph William (Ann) Catt; a grandson Barry Mitchell and a nephew Terrence (Lori) Catt. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
