Cecil J. Hawkins

Cecil J. Hawkins, Jr. age 77, of Indianapolis, passed away February 7, 2014. He was born June 10, 1936 in Clear Springs, Indiana to the late Cecil and Vada Hawkins. Cecil is survived by his wife of 57 years, Madeline, children, Bonnie(Rex) Peckinpaugh, Brian(Tracy) Hawkins, Gus(Kathy) Hawkins, and Nadine(Michael) Florek; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Creech; sister-in –law, Emalee Payne. He was preceded in death by his son, Cecil Hawkins, III. Cecil enjoyed watching the Three Stooges, loved to joke around, and enjoyed spending time tinkering in his garage. He loved to be with his family, especially his grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 12-2 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
