Catherine Lucile Stockton-Lamb of Indianapolis died March 8, 2016 at the age of 91.
Catherine was born June 8, 1924 in Prescott, Arizona. She married Charles Joseph Lamb on April 5, 1945.
She is survived by her children Catherine Diana Lamb-Avila, Andrea Lucile Lamb, Charles Eric Lamb, and Lisa Camille Lamb-McGary; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and daughter Victoria Lamb-Quakenbush.
Catherine was involved in volunteer work for East 38th Street Christian Church and Post Road Christian Church, where she once worked as secretary and librarian. She taught 3rd grade Bible school, was a member of the adult choir, and played piano for evening services. She was a published poet and lyricist.
Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Friday, March 11 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis with visitation 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
