Catherine Bowman

Catherine A. Bowman, 90, Noblesville, IN passed away May 7, 2012. She was born in Logansport, IN March 22, 1922 to the late Carl L. and Anna (Bauer) Gingrich. Catherine shared 60 years of a loving marriage with William A. Bowman whom passed away in 2008. Survivors include sons, William David, Stephen, and Thomas (Charlene) Bowman; 6 grandchildren, Angela (Paul)Bowman-Muething , Christopher, Jessica, Sarah, Emily and Andrew Bowman; 2 great grandchildren, Copper Muething and Nicholas Blake Nihiser; sister, Barbara Leahy, Delphi, IN and brother James Gingrich, Sacramento Ca. Catherine was the oldest of 4 siblings. She graduated from Logansport high School and attended Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Catherine was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed gardening, baby sitting and volunteer work. Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. A funeral will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park 4180 Westfield Rd with a visitation from 12-1pm. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery. Catherine will be honorably mentioned during the Prayer of the Faithful on Sunday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st Street Noblesville, IN 46060.
