Catherine Juanita Nita Smith

74 of Indianapolis, IN was born May 19, 1941 and passed away on November 13, 2015. She was born in Troy, Alabama to Roscoe and Era Mae Jinright, who precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey Smith and sister, Shirley Wetzel.

Nita worked at the Caring Place Church as a Bookkeeper for over 10 years. She enjoyed painting, reading and shopping but most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, J.R. Smith, daughter, Stacey (Mike) Fisher, brother, John Alton Kilpatrick, sister, Drucilla Dowe and grandchildren, Roland, Michaela, Reece and Elise.
