Cassandra Jo Pavka

Cassandra Jo Pavka, 74 of Prescott, AZ passed away May 21, 2020.  Cassie was born May 13, 1946 in Indianapolis.  She graduated from high school in Irving Texas, after which she went on to study at Tyler Junior College and Indiana University.

Cassie was a dental technician for Dr. Charlie Crawford in Indianapolis, before moving to Arizona in 1969.  In Arizona she launched three businesses in four locations in Phoenix; Sophisticatering, Heart & Hand Tearoom (downtown and uptown) and Jack & Jenny’s Bar & Grill).

After moving from Phoenix to Prescott Arizona, Cassie worked in the funeral and cemetery business selling pre-need services and served as an elder care advocate.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26 at 2:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.  To view the livestream of the service please click here.

Cassie is survived by her daughter, Robyne (husband, Jim) Hart and mother, Beatie Cummings.  She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Cummings, sister Janalynn “Jannie” Tucker and brother, Douglas Cummings.
