Casper was the cherished son of Robert Brown and Edith Whitaker Brown, who predeceased him, along with his brother James Morgan, sister Cathy Bennett, and daughter Linda Sue. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, whom he met in Glendale Mall January of 1980, where their love story began. Their instant connection blossomed into a beautiful marriage on September 20, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their bond was one of deep affection and mutual admiration, remaining strong until Casper's unexpected departure.

Casper’s legacy continues through his daughters, Desiree (Bobby), Teresa, and Rebecca, along with his sister Ashley and brothers Allen and Joseph. He was a proud grandfather to Madison, Makenzie, Kylie, Aurora, and grandson Braxton, with whom he cherished spending time and creating lasting memories. He found immense joy in going on vacations, playing games with his grandchildren, and relaxing at home, often engaging in trivia or other games on his phone.

A graduate of Arsenal Tech High School, Casper dedicated over 45+ years of his life to the Indiana School for the Deaf, where he touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. His passion for education was evident in his commitment to his work and the impact he made on those around him.

Casper was a man of varied interests. He found great pleasure in watching shows like *The Big Bang Theory* and *American Pickers*, enjoying old reruns and classic TV shows on the radio. A lover of gadgets and gizmos, he always had an eye for the latest tech, which brought him much joy in his life.

Casper's warmth and kindness were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for family was profound, and he cherished moments spent in their company, creating a sanctuary of laughter and love. His gentle spirit and playful nature made him a source of comfort and joy for many.
