Carolyn Wardrop

Carolyn Ann Wardrop 64, of Indianapolis, formerly of Portage, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Ms. Wardrop was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel D. Wardrop and Edna N Wardrop (Stone). She is survived by her sister, Susan E. Foley and her brother in law, Donald F. Foley Sr. Carolyn graduated with a B.A. degree in Special Education from Ball State in 1971. She worked as a special education teacher, for the Portage Police Department, Rediehs Trucking and TransCorr Trucking. Carolyn was a member of the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church of Indianapolis. She was a loving daughter and sister. Carolyn spent a number of years as the caregiver for her parents. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Ave. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service.
