Carolyn Sue Andrews, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1943 in Fayetteville, West Virginia to the late Ivan Sovine and Madelyn Golden (King) Church.

Carolyn was a woman of faith who loved going to church, being outdoors, camping, fishing, watching movies, and taking care of animals.

Carolyn is survived by her children, daughter Rhett Sexton and son Thomas Powers; sisters Elizabeth ‘Gogie’ (Greg) Davis, Sherry Church, and Vicki Burleson; grandchildren Jessica (Nick) Davis, Chelsey Sexton, and Julia (Juliana) Powers; great-grandchildren Kenzie Compton, Lexie Compton, Dalton Davis, Ashton Davis.

Carolyn was preceded in death by parents Madelyn G Church and Ivan Sovine, brothers Larry Sovine and Freddy Church.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 11am-1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park with a funeral service immediately following. Contributions may be given to any animal rescue group in honor of Carolyn’s love for her animals.
