Carolyn Ann McNeely

In Loving Memory of Carolyn Ann McNeely (Kolp)

March 31, 1933 – October 14, 2026

Carolyn Ann McNeely (Kolp), lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, Memaw, and the unforgettable “Grandma Crowbar,” passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on March 31, 1933, Carolyn lived 93 remarkable years, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and a family who will forever cherish her.

Carolyn was never one to sugarcoat things. She told it like it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not! You always knew exactly where you stood with her. Her honesty, strong personality, and one-of-a-kind spirit.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Judy Prosser; four granddaughters, Angie Wise (Danny), Brittany Roach, Brandi Brinkerhoff (Dustin), and Brooke Adair; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Truman McNeely; her daughters Jayne and Janet; her sister, Nancy; and her brother, Marvin.

Throughout her life, Carolyn was blessed to see generations of her family grow. Her legacy lives on through the family she leaves behind, the memories they share, and the countless stories that will be told for years to come.

While her family will deeply miss her presence, her familiar voice, and even those moments when she told them exactly what she thought, they will forever hold close the love and memories she leaves behind.

Ninety-three years of life, five generations of family, and a personality that could never be replaced. She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 10am until the service time at 12pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, with entombment to directly follow.
