Carolyn June Douglass

83, of Speedway, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2021.  Carolyn was born on June 12, 1938 in Orleans, Indiana to the late Waver and Rhena Kearby.  She was a 1956 Graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.  She retired after 18 years as a Mortgage Assistant for First of America Bank, Speedway, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Douglass; daughter, Catherine J. Douglass and her parents.  She is survived by her son, Michael C. Douglass; sister, Patricia A. Taylor; half-brother, Sammy Hess; stepbrother, Larry Hess and companion, John Matthews.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 3 pm at Floral Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
