Carolyn Guffin

Carolyn Joan Williams Guffin, 66, of Indianapolis died January 10, 2014. Joan was born on March 14, 1947 in Jellico, Tennessee to James and Bernice Williams. Joan worked for Washington Township schools at North Central High School and John Strange Elementary school in the cafeteria retiring in 2008. She loved spending time with her family and cheering on her kids and grandkids in all that they did. She was preceded in death by her father James Williams and a sister Jean Boston. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael L. Guffin, son Greg (Codie) Guffin, daughter Kalen (Brian) Allen, son Garrett (Caitlin) Guffin, mother Bernice Williams, sisters Judy Merriman, Janie Cox, grandchildren Bethanie Agnew, Jacob Guffin, Lucy Allen, Zachary Allen and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at the funeral center. Burial will follow the services in Crown Hill Cemetery.
