Carolyn Burrows

Carolyn Jean Burrows Daughter of the late Robert Elmer and Edna Leona (Moore) Burrows, died on July 27, 2015 after a long hospital stay at the age of 69. Carolyn was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 15, 1945. She was a graduate of Tech High School. Carolyn worked as an executive administrator for AFMB (now Chase) Marine Coal Sales (a division of Amax Coal), and retired from MMP Records in 2012. She was an independent woman who loved to travel and never hesitated to travel alone to a desired destination. Once she became an aunt, her world revolved around her beloved nephews: Steven, Scott and Robert. In addition to her parents, Robert and Edna, Carolyn was also preceded in death by her nephew, Robert L. Burrows. She is survived by her brother, Robert E. Burrows (wife, Kathy); nephews, Steven Burrows (wife, Elizabeth), Scott Burrows (wife, Christy); Robert's widow, Katie; great-nieces: Penelope, Eleanor, Brooklyn and Amelia; and great-nephew, Callen. A memorial service is pending for a later date. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
