Carolyn A. VanMeter Cromer
87 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on June 16, 2023. Carolyn was born on June 15, 1936, in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to the late John Thomas and Jessie Marie VanMeter. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Karen Jean Hill, Carolyn Marie Cromer; son-in-law Joe Hill; siblings, William VanMeter, Jesse VanMeter, Carl VanMeter, Ruth McDaniels, Carol Levi (twin of Carolyn) and Carol VanMeter and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Elmo Cromer; children, George Snapp, Rick Cromer, Tina (Carl) Fox and Angel (Lowell) Parton; brother, Paul (Mary Jo) VanMeter; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 1 pm with visitation from 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
