Carole Jean Mannan

Carole Jean Mannan age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away March 3, 2013. She was born January 12, 1935 in Newton, Iowa to August and Luella Bayse, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Mannan and sister, Barbara Perry. Survivors include her two sons, James Mannan and Patrick Mannan, fiancé, Jimmy Szakel, sister, Judy Murphy, and her beloved companions, 5 cats and 3 dogs. Carole was a retired teacher from the Indianapolis Public Schools. She was also employed by the Defense Finance and Accounting Service(DFAS). Carole was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star, loved antiques, and going to antique shows. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 PM Monday evening.
