Carol Eileen Weaver, who radiated joy and optimism throughout her life, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on July 25, 1946, in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, Carol grew into a strong and outgoing individual whose enthusiasm for life was truly infectious.
A proud graduate of Lakes High School in Tacoma, WA in 1965, Carol continued to pursue her academic dreams at Auburn University in Auburn, AL, earning her degree in 1970 before going on to receive her MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN the same year. Her education laid the foundation for a successful career as a Project Manager in Information Technology, where she was known for her expertise, leadership, and remarkable ability to connect with everyone around her. Her professional achievements were matched only by her dedication to her family and friends.
Carol was a loving wife to her husband, James Willard Weaver, with whom she shared a wonderful marriage filled with love and companionship. Together, they created cherished memories through many trips across Europe, where they explored new cultures and embraced adventures hand in hand. They shared their home with two beloved bulldogs, who brought even more joy into their lives.
Her twin sister, Karen Byers Cavanaugh of Fort Wayne, IN, and her nephew, Jonathan Byers Cavanaugh of Englewood, CO, were integral parts of her life, offering laughter and support, memories of family gatherings, and the warmth of sisterly bonds. Carol's family and friends will always remember her for her outgoing personality and her ability to lift others up with her optimistic spirit.
In addition to her family ties, Carol was a talented greeting card maker, sharing her creativity with loved ones on special occasions. She was beloved by all at Marquette Manor, where her popularity stemmed from the genuine kindness she extended to everyone she met.
While her parents, Edgar Marion Byers and Edris Green Dunaway Byers, have preceded her in death, Carol leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched countless lives, and her memory will be cherished forever as a reminder of the importance of embracing life with enthusiasm and warmth.
