Carol Umholtz

Carol S. Umholtz, 72 of Carmel, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at her home. Carol was born January 27, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Richard and Lydia Jaffke. Carol retired as an executive secretary from Weyerhaeuser, Inc. in 2008 after 25 years. Carol enjoyed the outdoors. Boating and water sports with her family was one of her greatest joys. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 20 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 19. Carol was the widow of Raynold Umholtz to whom she was married for 41 years. She is survives by her sons, Brad a. and Todd E. Umholtz; sister, Nancy Smith; brother, Richard G. (wife, Pam) Jaffke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews close to home and extended family members on the west coast.
