Carol L. Tucker

Carol L. Tucker, 91, passed away on December 4th, 2024. She was born August 26th, 1933, in Indianapolis to parents Carl and Loretta (Braun) Kuehr.

Carol grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. 

For several years, Carol worked as an administrative assistant for All State.

On April 20th, 1974, Carol married the love of her life, Gordon Tucker. They shared 50 wonderful years together.

Carol was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church for many years, and later, a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Her faith was very important to her throughout her life.

Carol was a strong, loving woman. She always enjoyed music, singing and dancing as often as she could. Carol loved spending time with her big family, and looked forward to the yearly get togethers.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her husband Gordon Tucker; her daughter Kristen Sprunger (Ryan Gootee); granddaughters Bryn and Eve Sprunger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her seven siblings.

Visitation will be Monday December 16th, from 10-11am, at St. Matthews Catholic Church. Her mass will begin at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
