Carol S. Heckert

Carol Sue Heckert, 65, Carmel, formerly of Kokomo, passed away February 4, 2013. She was born May 30, 1947, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Dorothy Mae Heckert. Carol graduated from Indiana University with her bachelor's degree in elementary education. She retired from Delco Electronics. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and she attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She was an animal lover and she enjoyed reading, knitting, and crocheting. Carol is survived by her two sisters, Bonnie Heckert and Diane Heckert Farnsworth; niece, Elizabeth Farnsworth de los Santos; and nephew, William Farnsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road East. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.
