Carol J. Waltz

June 7, 1947 — October 8, 2012

Carol Jean (Davis) Waltz 65, passed gently into eternal glory from her home on Monday morning. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend and her absence will be felt deeply by all who were fortunate to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents, George L. and Marjorie V. Davis. She is survived by her loving daughter, Natalie Waltz (Tim) Ogle; her sister, Linda (John) Langford; nephews, John Jr. (Cara), Greg (Liz), and Jason (Angie) Langford; five great nieces and nephews; and her aunt, Bertha O'Grady. Carol was a valued employee of Gregory and Appel Insurance Agency, having been employed by them for over thirty years. She will be missed by her many friends and associates there. Carol was a graduate of Arlington High School, having been a member of the first graduating class of that school in 1965. As a devoted member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Carol served as a Stephen Minister, giving care and comfort to others in times of crisis. She was looking forward to serving the church and the community after her planned retirement next year. Carol was the epitome of a "good friend".
